Matthew Provino

Bio:

Dec 30, 2018 - Mr. Provino is the band director at Sierra Vista MS. Under his direction, the bands have performed at Disneyland, the Los Angeles County Fair, Knott's Berry Farm, and other locations throughout Southern California. A leader in band for the district, he organizes other events for all the bands across the district including: *District MS Honor Band, *District Elementary Honor Band, *District Holiday Mall Performance, *District Band Festival, *Parade Performances, *Field Trips to Disney Hall, *District Masterclasses. His Techniques and band method books are sought after and can be seen across the district and other states. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from Cal State Fullerton and a Master's Degree from Sam Houston State University.
