Beethoven's Ninth Link Most years, this is the first song that I pass out to my kids. It is a simple melody that they all know, and the kids are always excited to be able to play a full arrangement. It uses the first 6 notes, and whole/half/quarter rhythms. Percussion has 8th notes as well. It sounds good and is attainable. I like to talk about phrasing when we learn this piece.
